Michael Gould composer and music director is a Professor of Music at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan and has received international recognition as a performer and scholar in the field of drumset, contemporary percussion performance and pedagogy. He is a faculty member of the Jazz and Contemporary Improvisation Department in the School of Music, Theater & Dance and the Residential College (College of Literature, Science and the Arts) at the University of Michigan. He is currently the Director of the Center for World Performance Studies.

Michael Gould and Nadja Raszewski are working together artistically for over 12 years. They created and developed different productions, workshops and teaching formates. Michael composes lots of music for different productions in context of TanzTangente.
Michael Gould is a lecturer in the one year certificate program in cooperation with the university of arts in Berlin „creating dance in art and education/ Tanzpädagogik Choreografie“
